Speaking of PSAs (yes I was)(PSA=Public Service Announcement) that one where a little boy is left by his mommy at a busy terminal and then he cries---people are all up in arms about how the child was mistreated. GIMME A BREAK
Besides the fact that the PSA will hopefully save some lives (it was anti-smoking, but I say it does double service:DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF YOUR KID IN A CROWD), why is preening and berating a little girl into kid-beauty contests okay?
Read Patty Duke's autobiography, now THAT was abuse to a child actor and now we adults have enacted laws to protect the kids. I say it was a good, smack-some-sense into you PSA.
