Freddie Mac Death by Guilty Conscience

David Kellerman, the CFO of one of our financial disasters has killed himself this morning. My feelings about this were mixed. I thought of his family, spouse and kids if he had any and all the stress he was under. Were the bad deeds his? Were they actions he KNEW would harm the lives of others or just stupid management? Either way, he is one of many---a club from 2009 with members that must live with their deeds in their expensive homes for the rest of their lives...Kellerman chose not to renew his membership.

Borders book store is supposedly closing. I have wonderful memories of sitting with coffe and books at Borders in Ann Arbor; my partner---memories of Borders in NYC; I don't recall such memories from looking at books online.

McDonald's is going to try a new, more "high-end" burger. Seriously?? Am I the only one who remembers 15 CENTS McDonald's burgers? Just like Starbucks, now they try more expensive products? Lessons not learned.
