Making a 102 Year Old Wait, Come On Doc!

My cousin in Indiana took our 102 year old Aunt Vi to the eye doctor yesterday....usual 6 month appointment to see that her glaucoma is under control. Anyway, they were extremely busy and running behind. They finally make it into the exam room, assistant does his thing and they wait some more. Finally doctor comes in and Aunt Vi says to him: " I'm 102 and my time is very valuable...I don't know how much longer I have left." He laughs and apologizes, mumbles something about several emergencies (which normally Aunt Vi couldn't hear but this day she does) so she says "I guess 102 is not an emergency." What a hoot! Never underestimate Aunt Vi.

Once again proving that stubbornness and a sense of humor can improve your life expectancy.
