This is one of my favorite blog awards. My partner designed it to show the gathering of support we all give to each other who are broken in some way. It comes from the idea behind Richard Cohen's (He has MS and has authored one of my favorite MS books: Blindsided.) book, "Strong at the Broken Places" which chronicles his meetings with several people who struggle with chronic diseases---it is inspiring and reminds us how much we all have in common, those who are ill and those who care for their ill loved ones; we all must become strong at the broken places.
This award goes to Musings of a Cranky Caregiver
"Family caregiver to a wonderful woman who's had MS for more than 20 of our 28 years together. "Mother" to two wonderful dogs, mini-dachshunds."
Skip, with MS, has been hospitalized and life is difficult right now. I hope you will pay Cranky a visit and give her some support. It is not easy being strong at those broken places.
