Lady Gaga in concert live in Tacoma, Washington. What, you may ask, does this have to do with Thanksgiving? Represent!Oh, please, I have sooo many things to be thankful for. Every day I am thankful for so much. How can I pick one, two, or a million? My entire life I have had people around me who loved me, inspired me, taught me, heard me, cared about me. It makes me feel I do not do enough with my life, "To those whom much is given..." So every day I try to give back.
As lonely as I have felt sometimes, I have really always been around many people. Perhaps that is why I feel such a need to write about them and how they molded my life's path.
Blogging is great fun, but soon I will leave. There are books to be written, books to be READ! Starting 2011 I must rebalance my time. But, not today. Today I will join my neighbors, my new extended family of friends in a feast. Somehow I will accept the American desire for this holiday--one which history shows was the beginning of the end for many native Americans. Time off from work, time with family, prayers and thanks, football and food, all the trappings to start the real explosion of American consumerism and gluttony--Christmas.
Oh well, such is life in the USA. I was always most thankful for 4 days off work, IN A ROW!!
Must learn more about copyrighting and trade marks. The business part of writing is so tedious.
