Two Old Lesbians Watching Fireworks

Boom and bang, ooo and awww, the fireworks in front of my apartment, just off a lake, again were spectacular! It was chilly though and we cuddled up under a throw. (More romantic that way anyway.)

Music was played in the background, Katy Perry's "Fireworks," John Lennon's "Imagine," ran the gamut. In 32 years this has been the first time we both were healthy enough to sit together and watch...I can't believe it. Takes my breath away, how difficult our lives have been, together...but still we are here. BOOM!
