OMG ( That means Oh My Gosh to me...don't you love seeing this every day? Did we USED to actually say these words so often?)
I just saw an ad for multiple sclerosis on TV!!
Now...first things first: FIRE THAT MARKETING MANAGER who thought it was a good use of MS donations.
Seriously, were they stoned? What does it MEAN?
Secondly: Please don't waste our money on a worthless ad. Really, we with MS have enough problems. Don't make us feel like we have lost our thinking power by flashing 4 second clips of film (so fast they are more like photos) that have absolutely nothing in common that I could detect.
Lastly: PLEASE don't start with sad, unemployed people, wheelchairs, and end with smiling, keyboarding at a job, people who are moving with glee. Yes, you wanted to send some subliminal message, but to splash in big letters "KILL" and "MS" suggests you are about to hand us a cure?
Oh, I've read some angry reactions, and the MS Association (I often wonder WHO they are associated WITH, don't you?) explaining it is important to stay connected with community. Also a play on words MS kills nerve connections too. REALLY? With the money you collect, you want to go with that kind of ad?
Consider an ad that explains to people WHAT MS DOES, or an ad to say WE NEED MONEY FOR A CURE or maybe a VACCINE or maybe RESEARCH.
It left me scratching my head. Not surprised if you missed it. I saw it once again during almost PRIME TIME---didn't make it any easier to like. "KILL" "MS" If you want to see how stupid it is then you can probably Google it. (But why?)
